Charity - Women may experience what is called implantation spotting when the placenta is developing. Spotting can also be due to infection or may be an early sign of miscarraige. I would recommend you discuss any bleeding in pregnancy with your own care provider. Cathy Hartt, RN, MS, Health Coach
